Chris Beck was born Christopher Shaun Beck in Erie, PA on March 2, 1984 to Caroline and Bernard Beck. He lived in Erie up until the age of three, and then moved to a little town on the outskirts of Pittsburgh named Brockway. After moving to Brockway, it became apparent that Beck was destined be involved in the music business.


In October of 1995, Chris left Brockway, PA with his mother, stepfather, and sisters and moved to Port Charlotte, Florida. It was there that he really started focusing on music, and his passion for it. A year later, a opportunity in the music business became a reality when he met Pierre Hilaire. Leader of Vilaire during the 80s and a veteran of the music business, Hilaire signed with EMI records being produced under the directions of Dennis King. He has had international air play in Venezuela and throughout Long Island, New York.

In 1997, at the age of 13, Chris recorded his first song Called "Walking in the Wind." Featuring his sisters as back up singers, it was a catchy song and was big hit amongst family members. This was the first of Beck's musical efforts produced by Pierre Hilaire. 

In 2001, more than two years after his first release, Chris ventured into the music business yet again at the age of sixteen. Again accompanied by the help and direction of friend and producer, Pierre Hilaire. Later that year he released his single, "The storm Begins" on Mp3.com under the stage name Chris T. Beck. This was easily one of the most exciting and challenging points in his life. This single determined whether he was to carry on his musical career or leave it behind. After being on Mp3.com for less than two months, Beck's single climbed to to the top of the local charts
for Port Charlotte and Punta Gorda, Florida. The single stayed at #1 for almost an entire month, as well as reaching #64 on the state charts.

Now, in 2007, Beck is once again in the studio with Hilaire producing "New Man Inside," his debut solo album. Mixing classic country with the modern sounds of rock and pop, Beck succeeds in creating a sound all his own. His vocals seem inspired by the greats of both country and rock, while his instrumentals are catchy and interesting. Combined, Beck performs songs that are sure to be noticed by the world of country music as well as the music community in general.
