Biography

Novice Nation

Local, Original, Homegrown Alt. rock. Novice Nation's first album explores the tension between a loud catchy pop riff, and the quiet transparency that comes with honesty and weakness. It's an album that deals with the process of making beliefs your own that have otherwise been assumed for you your whole life. Frustration, anger , helplessness, and hope intertwine to create Novice Nations first album. We hope you enjoy it. No, we hope you love it.

All recorded locally by Sideroom Studio/Records of Thief River Falls in Garages, bathrooms, and basements, and in the dead of another -32 Minnesota winter. Special thanks to Presonus, Vox, and the Shure 57, without which this would not be possible.
