Biography

I have been playing in the Hampton Roads area for 10+ years locally in different local area bands and as a solo artist. My major influences include, STP, Our Lady Peace,Live, Jeff Buckley, Lenny Kravitz, Seal, Incubus, Pearl Jam,Soundgarden, and many others. One of the bigger local bands that I have been in was Formula 8, in which we recorded a 4 song EP that included songs Amercia, Sometimes it Rains, Faith, and Been the Victim. Formula 8 was made up of members from, the more Recent band Some Odd Sense, Eric Salzman, JT Blum and Pedestal's David Brown. I have just finished recording a new acoutic CD called 'Return to Life', and also working on another CD that has a Beat inflenced modern rock sound. Can I be free, (provided on my demo CD) is a good example of the sound that I am trying to achieve, heavy beats with Rock Guitar, and Modern Eclectic Sounds, Like Piano, Violin, Synth and Dance Drum Samples. Some of the songs also, include modern DX effects. I am in process of getting a new modern rock band together that is mainly an original band, along with playing select covers. The Current band name I am going by is DUO. Its an anacronym, you decide for yourself. The band currently is made up of no definate members as of yet, although Zach Parkman has been playing some lead guitar, and splitting gigs with me, and Taurean Cooke who has done some back vocals, and lyric development on some songs, and Anna Dobrzyn has helped with some Violin parts and aided in some Arrangement. I am currently seeking a professional recording contract, by new media record industry professionals as well as Management from a Booking Agency or Professional Management firm.
